Swap novation

For one of the counterparties to an existing swap, a transaction that consists in transferring the swap, with the consent of the other initial counterparty, to a third party who agrees to take on the first counterparty's rights and obligations, and in ending its role in the swap by paying or receiving a differential based on the changes in the value of the swap since its inception.
